W.
H. “Doc” Eason -
In 1977, at
age 30, William H. "Doc" Eason took a 2 week motorcycle vacation
from his home in California and journeyed to Snowmass, Colorado
to visit some old fraternity brothers. These friends co-owned
the Tower Restaurant with John Denver. As fate would have it,
one of the first people he met in Snowmass was legendary bar
magician, Bob Sheets. This chance meeting changed the course of
Doc’s life forever. The two week vacation turned into an
incredible run of over 27 years. He never returned to California
and to make a long story very short, Doc had Bob’s old job as
the magic bartender and featured entertainer at John Denver’s
World Famous Tower Comedy Magic Bar and Restaurant until it
closed its doors on April 10, 2004.
In March of
2005, he was honored by the Academy of Magical Arts/ The Magic
Castle in Hollywood as the first recipient of Bar Magician of
the Year.
His unique
style of magic, his humorous repartee and the warm personal
attention he pays to his customers are all reasons that many
people returned year after year, always bringing new friends to
join in the fun. His remarkable memory still enables him to
remember faces and names from year to year. |

Jay
Scott Berry - Imagine a convention that had on the bill:
One of the finest performers, creators and teachers of original
magic in the world today. One of the masters of the Topit, the
Ring and Ribbon, and the Thumb Tip. One of the world's finest
Silk magicians and the undisputed world master of the Finger
Shell gimmick.
And that's only one of the performers on the
bill. Jay Scott Berry - in his only 2008 US performance - at the
LVMI. |

Will
Houstoun is one of
the real up and coming young talents from the
U.K. He burst onto the Magic
scene by taking third place in The
International Magic Close-Up Competition, then went on to
confirm his standing by becoming the youngest ever person to win
first prize in the British Magic Championship, Blackpool, 2006.
Since then he has represented the UK in FISM, attended the FFFF
convention as well as performing and lecturing in Spain,
Ireland, England, Italy and Sweden. |
 |
Daniel Garcia is one of the new up and coming stars of
magic who has had every single release become an instant hit. He
created and published effects like: Fraud, Greed, Torn, Shade as
well as the acclaimed Daniel Garcia Project.
He combines great
chops along with a unique way of looking at and performing magic
that is sure to keep his name at the very top of the world of
close-up magicians. |

Eric Mead's
gift of mystery and humor keeps Mead very busy. He presents over
200 shows each year, ranging from corporate events, to private
parties, to theatrical and television appearances. He has
enthralled audiences all across America and Western Europe.
From the private living rooms of Jack Nicholson, Kevin Costner
and Hugh Hefner, to the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies like
Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Philip Morris and Bristol-Meyers
Squibb, Mead is at home in almost any venue, in front of any
audience. |

Jason England
- Without a doubt,
Jason
England is regarded one of the
top card men in the world. Some may say the days of the
underground are long gone, but without a doubt,
Jason’s eye-popping work with
a deck of cards is still a well-kept secret. His
lecture will feature routines and techniques including: Center
Steal Control, Dealing 3rds, Riffle Stacking Tips, An Ace
Revelation,
Advanced Riffle Stacking Tips, and The McMillan Switch.
Jason starred along with R.
Paul Wilson (both of these gents are experts with a deck of 52s)
in the acclaimed Court TV series Takedown and both were
consultants for the theatrical film Shade. |

Allan
Ackerman - Las Vegas Card Expert
For
the better part of the last thirty years it has been my
privilege to have shared ideas with some of the best card men in
the world.
These experiences, together with my own research, have resulted
in a collection of what I believe to be original and useful
material which I offer to the fraternity through the pages of
this
website. |
